+Oltre le specifiche generali sull'intera [[strutture:pi:computing_center:storage|infrastruttura di storage]] presente presso lo Scientific Computing Center di Pisa, vengono di seguito elencate alcune caratteristiche specifiche delle aree GPFS dedicati agli utenti di fisica teorica che utilizzano i diversi sistemi.
+Ricordando che lo spazio disco sotto GPFS è organizzato in vari fileset che corrispondono a vari gruppi e/o tipi di utilizzo (a ciascun fileset è assegnata una quota). Per quanto riguarda i teorici queste sono i vari tipi di spazio disco allocati (di seguito viene indicato il path assoluto e quindi uso e spazio):
+- /gpfs/ddn/teorici
+è lo spazio disco che è messo a disposizione di tutta la comunità; attualmente ci sono 9TB occupati al 48%
+- /gpfs/ddn/thnuc
+è lo spazio disco dedicato ai teorici nucleari; contiene una cartella per ciascuna sezione (attualmente ci sono ct fe lns mi na pd pi rm1 tn) e ad ognuna sono assegnati 700GB
+- /gpfs/ddn/srm/theophys
+spazio disco servito via SRM (alias GRID); attualmente ci sono 3.8TB occupati al 51%

+è lo spazio disco dedicato al check point (almeno nell'epoca di tramontana e grid); attualmente sono 4.7TB occupati al 71%

+==== STORAGE DEDICATED TO THEORETICAL PHISICS ====

+In addition to the general specifications on the entire [[strutture:pi:computing_center:storage|storage infrastructure]] present at the Scientific Computing Center of Pisa, some specific characteristics of the GPFS area dedicated to users of theoretical physics are listed below.
+The entire disk space is organized in a number of GPFS filesets that correspond to various groups or types of use (each fileset have a quota. These are the various types of disk space allocated (the absolute path, use and space are listed below):
+- /gpfs/ddn/teorici
+is the disk space that is now available to the entire community, currently 48% of 9TB of space is occupied.
+- /gpfs/ddn/thnuc
+is the disk space available to theoretical nuclear and contains a folder for each section (there are currently fe ct lns me na pd pi rm1 tn) and each are assigned 700GB of disk space
